Phillip Hadley Appointed as 2025 Canada Games Head Coach for the Nova Scotia Athletics Team

Phillip Hadley of Windsor, NS is our 2025 Canada Games Head Coach for the Nova Scotia Athletics Team.  With over 20 years of coaching experience both in the United States and Canada, including previous Provincial Team experience, Phillip’s knowledge of the sport ranges across nearly all event groups, carrying certifications in sprints/hurdles, endurance, and jumps. Most recently, Phillip completed the World Athletics Academy Elite Coach Course in sprints and hurdles in 2020, certifying him to work with athletes at the highest levels of the sport. 

Phillip continues his coaching development by attending professional and personal development opportunities every chance he gets.  He is also the Event Group Coach for Sprints for Athletics NS, a coach course facilitator and a passionate supporter of our sport here in Nova Scotia!

Continuing on his success as the 2023 Legion Team Head Coach, Phillip will lead a large contingent of athletes, coaches and managers at the 2025 Canada Games in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.  He is looking forward to assembling the best athletes and coaches that Nova Scotia has produced and making the whole province proud in St. John's 2025!
