Athletics Nova Scotia - Code of Conduct
Safe sport is our top priority. Since early 2025 we have an updated Code of Conduct and Ethics to ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for everyone in our sport. We would like to take this opportunity to remind our membership about our CODE.
What you need to know:
Zero Tolerance: We have a strict zero-tolerance policy for any form of maltreatment, discrimination, or harassment.
Respect First: We expect all members to treat each other with the highest standards of fairness and integrity.
Who Does This Apply To? EVERYONE! This code explicitly applies to athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, board members, staff, and parents.
On & Off the Track: These rules apply at all practices, meets, and travel events—and even outside of events if it impacts our sport community.
