Athletics NS Names 2021 Award Winners

Last evening, Athletics Nova Scotia handed out their 2021 awards through a virtual awards presentation – a first for the Association.  “The awards program was sidelined in 2020, but we wanted to continue on with our annual tradition this year, in a modified format.  2021 was filled with its fair share of ups and down but we wanted to celebrate our members in a meaningful way and thank them for all that they bring to the sport.  We are now looking forward to an exciting 2022.” – Anitra Stevens, Executive Director

Among the winners were multiple provincial record holders, school provincial champions, top 3 and top 10 in Canada ranked athletes, special olympics and para athletes of the year, masters athletes who dominated our indoor and outdoor records in 2021 and coaches, officials and volunteers who volunteer year round to grow our sport.
